Here’s the stuff I’d tell you if we could meet in person and chat for a few minutes.

 

I’ve been where you are.  Most of my adult life I’ve made my living selling products and/or services.  For many years in business to business sales but I’ve also done direct sales, and more recently online marketing.

 

It’s been a great journey so far.  I’ve made all the mistakes, spent money on things that didn’t work and figured out what does work.  You can just skip the parts that were crap and advance directly to

 

 

Phyllis, the owner of SoundAdvice Sales and Marketing,  helps small business owners develop a sales and marketing strategy that is comfortable and lets their passions be the business focus.

 

With nearly two decades of small business and corporate experience combined with years of community involvement, Phyllis brings a unique experience and perspective to her role as marketing consultant.  She began her corporate career at a small privately owned business that became a world class publicly traded company where she earned top honors from industry leaders and clients for her sales success and service level commitment.

 

Her work experience includes positions in corporate sales, account management, people leadership, employee development and strategic planning.  In all her roles, Phyllis has used her strengths in developing creative solutions to difficult problems, organizing resources to achieve goals, building relationships and inspiring colleagues to become involved in their communities.

 

Phyllis now brings her passion for marketing to entrepreneurs and small business owners.  Her step by step process yields a strategy for sales growth that business owners are comfortable implemeting. She helps insure success by drawing on the strengths of the individual client to market themselves and their business.   

 

Phyllis serves on the Women’s Division Committee for the Memorial Tournament on behalf of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital.   She also serves as Public Relations coordinator for Kinder Key.  She resides in downtown Columbus Ohio with her husband Kelvin.
