Follow Friday Customer Love Style

Looking for some amazing people to follow?  Want to join a community that’s getting things done and making things happen? Check out these people and join the conversation!  (I’ve written about Customer Love here)

LaVonne Ellis

The amazing force behind the customer love movement, LaVonne is perfect at building a community, connecting people together and making things happen.   She’s likely to be tweeting about what someone else is doing, leading a tweetchat or asking about your thing. She’s the ringleader and chief instigator and encourager. Follow along!

Eleanor Wragg

I met Eleanor back in November during the first Customer Love challenge.  I was lucky enough to win a free re-write of my About page.  Working with her was a great experience.  Eleanor is fun to talk to, super smart and very talented.  She’s a word traveler who writes beautifully. The last time we skype-chatted she was in Puerto Rico.  Follow her and read more here.

Sandi Amorim

A self described chief instigator, Sandi is not your typical coach. She’s taken a stand for her clients. She’s knows that you deserve to shine even if you don’t!  Her blog is inspiring; not just because she write so well, but because she has something important to say. I love her generous spirit, her sense of humor and I  know you will too!

Alvin Borromeo@WylieMac   Alvin is an attorney by day, and instigator all the time.  And I mean that in the very best sense of the word.  He’s organized IgniteColumbus 1 thru ?4 now right?  He’s involved/helped organize  StartUp Weekend, WordCamp, and posts about all types of events in the Columbus area on his blog, www.the270.com  Expect the unexpected and a dose of humor on his take on life in general.

Jason Yun@YunTraining  I attended Jason’s bootcamp trial a while back – he’s the real deal when it comes to fitness.  He also has the best tagline ever - Look Better Naked.  Jason has all kinds of helpful info about fitness, exercise, nutrition and throws in his personal take on everything.  If you aren’t in Columbus, check out his website – and videos with exercises you can do at home.  www.yunbootcamps.com

Tim Brownson@TimBrownson I only know Tim from Twitter and reading his blog www.adaringadventure.com He’s a Life Coach who isn’t afraid to tell you the real deal.  I love that he doesn’t sugar coat things, and speaks his mind.  He’s also written a great book called How to Be Rich and Happy.

@startupbiztalk – Cheryl Isaac – She’s a force! A newly published author and a great business women – Cheryl knows how to help and inspire others.  She’s all about empowering entrepreneurs to take those first steps and get it right. I’ve learned about some great resources from Cheryl’s tweets.  Check her out.

@Kinder Key This is a fundraising auxilliary of Nationwide Children’s Hospital.  I am involved with this organization and want to let more people know about the heart center.  We raise funds with 2 annual events and would love to have other ladies in the Columbus area join our efforts.  It’s a little work and a lot of fun for a good cause.

So that’s it for this week.  Love to know who you reccomend!  Have a wonderful weekend.

Twitter Follow Friday – Mother’s Day Edition

I enjoy doing these posts.  The hardest part is picking out who to list!   So let’s get right to it this week.

@Rockson – Rocky is a social media legend.  Really.  He’d never say that but he’s the reason why I went to my first tweet-up. He was involved in bringing Startup Weekend Columbus to town, and started the Skyline Chili Conniseurs’s club (must be experience at least once) and is now part of a great new twitter app called ChumpDump.   Oh, and if you want some of his social media skills, he’ll help you out.  Check out Start Engaging Others.  (This is not an affiliate link or paid promo – he’s a great resource and I’m happy to share the love!)

@AndreaApplegate – Andrea is part inspiration, part motivation and really fun.  She’s a natural connector; she just gets it.  She’s as likely to be posting about running, or mentoring or events in Columbus all with her flair for humor and fun.  She’s a big Buckeye fan, so during the fall, be prepared for passionate updates about OSU football, tailgating and TBDBITL.

@mssinglemama - This is the mother’s day edition after all.  Alaina is fun and witty and smart.  She takes you along with her as she navigates motherhood, a new business, dating, falling in love (?), and every day life stuff.  A quick read of her blog will make you feel like she’s a long time friend – plus she’s always doing somthing or going somewhere fun!

@CatherineCaine – I just recently “met” Catherine online.  She’s brilliant.  You’ll love her fun sense of humor.  Part of her twitter bio is “Queen of Awesomesauce”.  Enough said.  Follow her and her blog.  You won’t

@Tom_Peters - If by some chance you aren’t following him yet, you should be.  The mix of his personal perspective with his incredible sense what’s trending right now – means you’ll be getting some cool insights about business and life.  He’s as likely to be answering a question or commenting on the work or writings of others along with his personal comments on what he’s observing as he goes through his days.  Always interesting.  I love that he’s so engaged.

Feel free to leave comments or info about the folks I’ve mentioned, or let me know who you put in your #ff list this week.

Twitter Follow Friday Recommendations

I enjoy the #followfriday (sometimes known as #ff) suggestions – I’ve met some cool people that way.  I follow people who I find interesting, funny and entertaining.   Here’s my list for this week and a little bit about them so you know what you’re getting if you choose to follow them!

@MissNatalieLynn  She’s a smart, creative person with a passion for healthy delicious foods.  We met for tea this week and I learned she’s fun to talk to and has great energy to be around.   She’s involved with a few exciting new ventures that I’m anxious to follow as well.

@DonsCarCare  I know this is a business, not a person but I learned about them on twitter and have since had them do some work on one of our cars.  Guess what?  Our bill was a bit less than the estimate!  How often does that happen?  Don is a great guy doing good work.  Worth the follow if you’re in Columbus.

@LRMoore  A super fun, smart lady who is so easy to connect with – you’ll be like me and feel like you’ve known her forever!  Honestly you’ll think she’s your long lost friend from college.

@Darrah1 A social media superstar who seems to  know everyone!  A great business lady who’s one of the most generous people I know.  She’s likely to follow you and offer to help with your project or jump in with a great suggestion.  That’s how she does things.
Oh, and we’re doing a cool training called Social Selling if you’re in Columbus.  Might be a few seats left.

@Gorilla_Force  I met Shane, the brains behind this IT services site on the Third Tribe forum.  He’s got a great vision, is fun to talk to and totally gets the whole connecting/giving/sharing vibe that follow friday and TT is all about!  Check out Gorillaforce.com while you’re at it as well – cool new site, great concept.

Love to get your feedback and a few suggestions from you too!  Have a great weekend!
